I’m Ehab Mousa, a student at UW-Milwaukee studying accounting with an associate’s degree in business management. My expertise focuses on analytical, strategic, brand awareness, and creativity, each critical in developing results that help establish a story. Along with being a student, you can catch me working for the Milwaukee Bucks, traveling, and collaborating alongside small businesses in the greater Milwaukee area. To take into consideration what I do, I’ve always believed that conquering unique experiences takes a six-step thought process- analytical, strategical, mindfulness, communication, innovation, and creativity. These six steps, which I refer to as “dimensions,” have helped me design experiences for those I have collaborated with. Creating experiences is what drives me to pursue my purpose. Hence the name, Sixth Dimensional Design.
When challenged with adversity, it is natural to experience uncertainty, but it is never okay to give up. My ideology centers around the beauty of the story and how one can look at it from various angles. Stories help get people talking and sharing, which is the first big step in learning. Communicating with others as a collective unit helps us understand the person behind the story. We often overlook the challenges and adversity it took to create the story in the first place. The average film watcher will spend two hours watching the movie but won’t spend five minutes watching the credits. Although the people in the credits may never receive the acknowledgment they deserve, the experiences they’ve encountered during the process outweigh the recognition. That is why it is essential to enjoy the process. The people we meet, the lives we change, and the communities we bring together are all a part of the process of creating stories to inspire others.
So what does it mean to be a Sixth Dimensional thinker? Being a Sixth Dimensional thinker requires an understanding that challenges one to determine the outcome of a result from six different scenarios. These scenarios align with the idea that drives the human mind to craft the perfect story while developing new ideas. Incorporating a business and creative aspect into my work has played a crucial role in allowing me to grow as a Sixth Dimensional thinker. The ultimate objective for my ideology starts by familiarizing myself with the types of reactions I await from my respective audience. Those reactions, positive or negative, play a huge role in my development, enhancing my overall abilities as a learner. This is because failure and success are all a part of the story. Although we may not be satisfied with the outcome, it is just one chapter in a book that will help us define our legacy.
In 2022, I created an Instagram page called "Big Buck Finds." The page's purpose is to commemorate historic Milwaukee Bucks memorabilia and clothing pieces that fans grew up to love. After creating this page, a spike in demand arose for fans worldwide trying to get their hands on vintage Milwaukee Bucks items. The ultimate goal for my page is to educate fans on the history of clothing and memorabilia the team developed throughout its history. The photographs below are just sample pieces from the page.
All Goods is a local thrift and streetwear store in the West Allis and Bayshore area. During the Winter of 2020, I was introduced to Ali Acevedo, the owner of All Goods. After meeting him, I was inspired by his story and what his brand stood for. As we began to connect on a multitude of levels, I was then offered the opportunity to intern as a creative marketer. During my time at All Goods, I was able to enhance my photography, design, leadership, and technical skills. Along the way, we were able to grow the instagram page from 7,000 followers to 13.6k. This would eventually lead to the grand opening of his second location located at Bayshore Mall.
UW-Milwaukee plays an essential role in developing professionals who go on to represent their alma mater from all across the world. Being known heavily for their academics, the school's athletic programs typically receive little publicity. The designs below help bring new life to Milwaukee Panthers athletics.
